The Sycamore Canyon Conservation Foundation, a private not-for-profit entity is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona and governed by a Board of Directors.
The mission of the Sycamore Canyon Conservation Foundation is to guide the conservation, protection and appreciation of the dedicated Sycamore Canyon Preserve natural open space including:
- Preserving natural habitats, geographic features and scenic views, including plants, washes and wildlife corridors
- Restoring habitats
- Utilizing natural open space as buffer zones
- Providing educational and research opportunities utilizing natural open space
- Increasing public awareness and appreciation of the land
